Hi, I am a web designer and front-end developer based in East London, specialising in front-end interface design and development.

Whereas most web designers stop at Photoshop files and some developers can only code, I can take your website from an initial idea through design, user testing, build and finally to go live. I’m equally comfortable designing in Photoshop or coding in Sublime Text.

I use a number of skill sets and tools including HTML5, CSS/Sass, JavaScript/jQuery and Photoshop. I also work with backend technologies: PHP, SQL/databases and Apache as well as advising on UX, usability, SEO, user-centered design and accessibily. I am an advocate of web standards.

I have experience developing using a range of web platforms, including WordPress, Magento, OSCommerce and MySource Matrix and integrating data into web products using APIs such as Google Maps, Twitter and Facebook.

I hold a MSc in Electronic Publishing (Distinction) from City University London and a first class degree in English and Media and have worked as a developer and designer since 2008. Before making the leap to the digital world I worked in the publishing industry for four years as an Editor of print and online products before returning to university to complete my MSc.

I currently work full-time as the Web Team Leader for a London university as well working work for the fashion label Brat and Suzie as Graphic Designer and Web Developer.
